Pumpkin Patch Kids

Cake for my sister's baby shower
This is my latest creation...my sister's baby shower cake. Boy was I excited about this one and as always, with my head full of ideas, I went to it. This will be my little sister's 1st baby and since she is always so encouraging about my decorating I put everything I had into this one. It turned out great and my sister loved it.

Where I wish I was

Fondant Bass Boat figure
This sculpture was a challenge not because of the difficulty but like I said before I’m not satisfied with doing the norm. So as my mind started to work and more and more ideas popped up and a little turned into a lot. I was very proud of this one just because it all turned out just like my mind pictured.

Grandmama’s rose garden

Grandmother's 97th b'day cake
The next one was one was for my Grandmothers 97th b’day. I was very pleased by the outcome and the way the roses surrounded the cake.

Tinker-licious

Tinkerbell Cake
The mother of one of my wife’s co-workers asked if I would do a Tinkerbell cake for her daughter. As per usual, I made a small project bigger than it should have been. The cake has royal icing flowers around the outer edges of each tier, and a fondant bow. When I was done with this cake I was surprised (I shouldn’t have been since I normally over-do my cakes) at how big the cake turned out, but the lady loved it and so did the birthday girl.

Sweet pork

Fondant Roasted Pig
This was my next attempt at a sugar sculpture. I worked on this one for about 3 weeks. I wanted it to be just right so I redid the silver tray he sits on 4 times. All in all I was pleased with the way it turned out.
